We provide a wide range of toys and activities for under 5s and welcome parents, grandparents and carers – enabling all to meet in a friendly and relaxed environment with light refreshments included. Tots Time is run by volunteers (many from the former Munch Club Team), so expect a warm welcome, excellent toys – and our famous Tractor Song!

Bridport Community Orchard, in St Mary’s Church Field, is a public space with about 60 fruit trees, mostly apple and pear. It is maintained and managed by a group of volunteers. They hold annual fund raising events such as Apple Day in October, where funds raised go into the upkeep of the orchard. Church House Hall is an invaluable asset for the event.

Dee teaches the iconic moves of the 1920’s dance known as Charleston! During her courses she will look at the different styles of Charleston over the 1920’s, 30’s & 40’s, adding some vernacular/vintage Jazz movements and a little bit of history along the way.
Each week dancers will learn a new set of moves, building up routines, focusing on both technique and how to freestyle each move! Those with more experience are welcome to stay and join us for Charleston Plus and recall tried and tested routines.

We have been offering our services to the local community for over 60 years, helping owners understand their dogs and training them to behave responsibly. We currently have a combination of qualified instructors and experienced helpers. Our classes are designed to cover all levels from puppy socialisation through to the three stages (Bronze, Silver and Gold) of the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards.

NES are a large choral group of around 60 singers who normally perform two concerts per year, usually of large set-piece choral works. Mostly, though not always, they like to perform in St Mary’s Church and it is not uncommon for them to have packed audiences.
