Facilities
The hall is about 17m x 8m, with a sprung wooden floor ideal for dancing, and has a separate fully equipped kitchen plus women’s, men’s and disabled toilets. There is a small outside decked area off the kitchen and a bicycle rack outside the main door. Regular users can have access to a small sub-basement store area.

Church House Hall has flats above and to one side. This means that there are restrictions to limit noise during late evening bookings. Evening bookings tend to start at 7.30pm and finish by 11.30pm.

Capacity
The present Fire Safety Regulations identify the following maximum numbers of persons permitted to attend each of the following types of event:
- Dancing and seated accommodation 200
- Set out tables and chairs 120
- Close seated audience 150
Special conditions applied to hall usage during the Covid-19 pandemic; these have gradually been relaxed by the committee as the community gains more confidence in the new ‘normality’.
Parking: There is no hall car park. Use on-street parking (unlimited after 6pm) or town centre car parks further up South Street. For cheap long-term parking use the football club car park off Watton Park (short walk to hall along the river).
